JPPL Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in the Justice, Political Philosophy and Law Honours BA Program.
Students who seek to enroll in the JPPL Program must complete a Supplemental Application. The Supplemental Application form will become available on March 15, 2024 and the deadline for submission is April 30, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST. This form will not be available for submission after this deadline.
Please Note: Students are required to complete BOTH the MOSAIC component of the application process AND the Supplemental Application. Admissions decisions will be made on the basis of the Supplemental Application, the student’s general cumulative average and the student’s performance in classes relevant to the themes of the JPPL Program. Admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis. We expect that all decisions will be made by late May 2024.
We expect most applications to come from those who will be second year students at the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year. There may also be a small number of upper level McMaster students applying to the Program. With respect to these advanced students, preference will be given to those who have already completed a number of the Program’s required classes. We welcome applications from students transferring from other universities. All McMaster undergraduate students and transfer students from other universities who are eligible for the program are encouraged to apply.
