Fifty Years of the Russell Archives at McMaster

In 1968, McMaster University acquired the Bertrand Russell Archives making it a home for the British philosopher, logician, essayist, and peace advocate. The Russell Archives are located in the The William Ready Division of Archives and Research Collections and includes correspondence, manuscripts, tapes, films, photographs, medals, and permanently displayed writing desk.


In 2018, we will celebrate 50-years of the Bertrand Russell Archives.  As part of the celebrations, McMaster will be hosting a number of events, which include:
